We have a "mini-ball" coming up in a few weeks and I need a little clutch (rather not bring the diaper bag). So tonight I decided to try and make my own. Sad to say it didn't turn out. Guess I should have used a pattern. I'll try again tomorrow if I'm in the mood. Here is what I came up with.
It's gathered unevenly and I'm not really digging the fabric combo.
Dennis said "It's kind of long" and decided it makes a better hat. I think he's right.
But here is something that did turn out. Aren't they cute?!

My TOMS. These are the MOST comfortable shoes ever! At first I thought they looked a little funny but now they have grown on me and I want a pair in every color! The best thing about this great company is that for every pair purchased, they give a pair away to a child in need. I'm thinking about getting a pair for each of the girls. Maybe these or these.
I bought these little snack bags from this shop on ETSY and we use them everyday! I always felt so wasteful using up ziplock bags for the girls snacks, and these are the perfect substitute. The inside is a water-proof, food safe lining.
This little gadget is called a Lightscoop. It is for my DSLR camera. I hate to use a direct flash for pictures because I don't like the harsh light that shines back, but natural light is not always possible. Awhile ago, I bought something like this for my camera. The idea is to send the flash up so it bounces off the ceiling and distributes nicely throughout the picture and gives a much more natural look. The problems with it are: it's expensive, bulky, sucks batteries fast and takes forever to charge. The lightscoop does the same thing with a mirror. Certainly a "why didn't I think of that product" but I'm certainly thankful someone did!
